Dr. Austin was born and raised here in the Pacific Northwest growing up in Camas, Washington.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Western Washington University specializing in Sport Psychology. He had a passion for understanding human performance and the mental aspects of the healing process.

Dr. Austin earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College West. There, he was awarded a rugby scholarship and played on the Life West Gladiators team while in school. He also had the opportunity to play rugby professionally for the city of San Francisco.

Dr. Austin first experienced chiropractic when in high school after suffering a low back injury playing football. He was given specific instructions on how to strengthen and stabilize his low back and followed them rigorously. Following the instructions provided, along with the Chiropractic Adjustment, Dr. Austin was able to compete again pain free. This was the basis for his purpose and philosophy entering the field of Chiropractic:

To provide the tools and knowledge to help individuals achieve optimal health. To allow individuals the opportunity to take back the power to heal.

With Dr. Austin’s athletic background, he offers his patients chiropractic care with a sport focus; life is a sport!

His specialties include extremity adjusting of the shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, hips, knees, ankles, and feet. He also utilizes soft tissue treatments with Active Release Technique (ART).

More than just cracky-cracky
All of my prior experiences with chiros involved me showing up, having a 2 minute convo, getting adjusted, and sent on my way. Dr. Austin has a variety of different tools and techniques, and takes the time to listen. Highly recommended!
