Introduction
For those of us who have served in the military, the transition to civilian life can be challenging. It's a journey filled with unique experiences, challenges, and opportunities. As a retired Army veteran who served through the War on Terror, I know firsthand the sacrifices and dedication it takes to wear the uniform. However, I also understand that I, like many of my fellow service members, failed to grasp the full scope of benefits available to us, particularly the VA Loan. Now, I'm on a mission to change that, to ensure that no veteran misses out on the advantages that the VA Loan offers.
The Missed Opportunity
Throughout my military career, I was fortunate to work with and lead some incredible men and women. But, there was one aspect of our benefits that many of us simply didn't understand well enough – the VA Loan. It was only after my retirement that I realized how we missed out on a fantastic opportunity that could have made a significant difference in our lives.
My failure as an NCO, a Non-Commissioned Officer, was not in leadership or in serving my country, but in not adequately educating my soldiers about the benefits available to them.
