Mills & Mills Funeral Home

About Mills & Mills Funeral Home and Memorial Park

Since 1901, Mills & Mills Funeral Home has been a part of life in Thurston County. We maintain a more than century-long tradition of personal and compassionate care to bereaved families. Our warm and welcoming facility offers a full kitchen, wide-open spaces with high ceilings in our foyer, and a chapel with full video and audio capabilities.

Mills & Mills Funeral Home and Memorial Park are surrounded by wooded land and boast a wide range of shrubs, trees and flowers. Within our park you'll find the Pacific Northwest spirit alive and thriving. We specifically care for and maintain many special trees and plants: young giant sequoias, maple and pine trees, a voodoo lily, elephant garlic and an 88-foot-tall American Chestnut tree. We even maintain the original dahlias, planted here when the park was opened. Our peaceful park is home to deer, minks and raccoons

Mills & Mills Memorial Park was established in 1956. Currently, only 18 of 32 acres are developed for cemetery use. The remaining land remains open for future gardens, features and generations. The cemetery currently has 10 gardens for ground burial, each with its own special features. We also have a mausoleum for above ground entombment and various niche walls for urn placement. We keep a full-time year-round grounds crew to care for our wide open, serene cemetery. Even in the lull of winter, they are dedicated to the highest quality care of our lawns, trees, shrubs and plants. Today we continue to pride ourselves on service based on respect, dependability and integrity. We welcome you to tour our lovely grounds and up-to-date facility and to meet our warm and gracious staff.
